Sweet Corn Connection

Our History

In 1968 Bill Wilson, Sr. started Wilson Farm Market.  Originally the business was a self-service retail "fresh egg" business started with an old refrigerator and a muffin tin for customers to put their money in to pay for their eggs.  Bill Sr. expanded to include fresh fruits and vegetables and in 1971 sold the business to Bill, Jr.  Both father and son still worked side by side, growing their own sweet corn for the business.  Soon, many other items were being grown. including cantaloupe, green beans, tomatoes, pumpkins and zucchini.

Wilson Farm Market is located halfway between Indianapolis and Kokomo, Indiana on U.S. 31.  Over the years, Wilsons' has blossomed into a full service "general store" providing freshness and quality with a full line of fresh fruits and vegetables, along with many varieties of Amish cheese, hand-dipped ice cream, our own line of jams, jellies, salad dressings and other unique food items, frozen fruits and pies, cobblers and apple dumplings along with our own homemade baked goods.  In addition, we also have many unique craft and gift items.   We also work closely with many Amish families to promote some of the finest products coming out of their communities, from apple butter to lawn furniture.
